Today TEIN3 has about 50 million users in about 8,000 research and academic centers.
Bhutan is not yet connected to TEIN3 network, but working towards it.
The workshop is also aimed to educate and create awareness amongst potential users and consolidate efforts made so far to forge the necessary partnership towards con- necting to TEIN3. Bhutan is also working to establish its research and education network.
