September 13, 2012: All was well in the first half. But the moment, the referee blew his whistle for the second half; the Nangpa FC goalkeeper became very busy, as an arsenal of goals came from the quivers of Zimdra FC.
At the end of the match, Nangpa FC was stripped by Zimdra with four goals to none.
The onslaught began with Barun Basnet of Zimdra FC, who in the 51st minute netted the first goal. It was all goals then with three more coming
in the 79th, 81st and 86th minutes respectively.
Meanwhile, the spirit of the losing team is upbeat. Kinley, a player with Nangpa FC told Bhutan TODAY that “it is not about winning or losing.” “In soccer, every second matters and if you loose your concentration, your opponents take the advantage. That was what happened.”
Meanwhile, Zimdra FC played four matches till date and scored a total of 11 goals. Nangpa FC has played five matches.
Top of the charts is Drukpol FC, followed by Zimdra and Yeedzin.
